The Planning Group encourages every community in our subregion to become a Firewise USA site. Firewise communities work together to reduce wildfire risk through volunteer efforts—work that can also qualify residents for homeowners-insurance discounts.
Thanks to the volunteers of the Crest Fire Safe Council, and with the support of the Planning Group, Crest is now officially recognized as a Firewise USA® community.
